Karen graduated in dentistry from Guys Hospital in 1989 and was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Ashford & St Peters NHS Trust in 2001. She is actively involved in the training and lecturing of Specialist Registrars and senior trainees up to Consultant level. She has lectured to national orthodontic groups and dental societies and is a past chairman of the trainees group of the British Orthodontic Society. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and is a taxi driver for her two teenage daughters.

Claire graduated in Dentistry from University College Hospital in 1986 and was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Ashford & St Peters NHS Trust in 1997. She trains Specialist Registrars and senior trainees up to Consultant level. She lectures widely on Orthodontic subjects to GDP’s, Postgraduates and Orthodontists. She is currently interim training programme director at Barts and The Royal London Hospital and is an examiner for the University of London. She has three older children, so has a little more time now for her hobbies of playing tennis, yoga, singing and reading.

Liz graduated in Dentistry from The Royal London Hospital in 1987 and was awarded the MOrth Gold medal in 1994. She was appointed Consultant in Orthodontics to the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and King’s College Hospital in 1999. In 2002 she moved to Kings College Hospital Dental Institute to concentrate on postgraduate teaching and the provision of multidisciplinary treatment. Liz has been an examiner for the University of London and lectures on a regular basis. She now devotes more time to working at St Mark’s, looking after her two boys and trying to master the game of golf.

Nick graduated in Dentistry from Bristol University in 2009. He undertook Orthodontic specialty training at Kings College London and the Royal Surrey County Hospital and was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Trust in 2018. He is involved in the training of Orthodontic Specialty Trainees up to Consultant level. Nick is very much a family man and his free time is now spent making the most of the joys of being a father to his young children.

I qualified as a dental nurse in the UK in 2006 but have been dental nursing for over 15 years. I joined St Marks in 2012 and also gained my dental radiography qualification in the same year. I love helping children with oral hygiene and nutritional advice at the practice and in my spare time, I enjoy reading, singing and socialising with friends and family.

I qualified as a registered dental nurse in the UK in 2015 and have been working as a dental nurse for 6 years. I joined the team at St Marks in 2016 and gained my dental radiography qualification in 2017. I enjoy travelling and keeping fit in my spare time.

I started working at St Marks in January 2017 as part of the reception team. I love being part of the St Marks family and am always happy to help our patients with all their needs. In my spare time I enjoy nights out with friends, going to the cinema, days out with my family on our little boat and long walks with our new dog, Stanley.

I qualified as a dental nurse in 2012 in the UK and have worked for over 10 years in dental practice. I have worked with general dental practice as well as different specialists. I enjoy spending time with my kids and gardening.

I joined St Marks as a part time receptionist in April 2021. It is a great team which makes coming to work a pleasure. Outside of work I enjoy horse riding, walking my 2 dogs and keeping fit.

I joined St Marks in June 2019 as an administrator and enjoy the busy working environment. Outside of work, I like walking with friends, going to the theatre and singing regularly in a local choir.
